We are pleased to announce the upcoming event dedicated to Works of Exceptional Historical and Artistic Value, which will take place on October 29, 2025, in Florence. On this occasion, works of outstanding quality and variety, created by renowned international and Italian artists, will be presented at auction.

Standing out is the group of seven paintings from the collection of Francesco Molinari Pradelli (Bologna, 1911–1996). One of the most celebrated conductors of the twentieth century, he was not only a master at directing tenors and sopranos of extraordinary talent, such as Luciano Pavarotti and Maria Callas, but also a refined collector who succeeded in building an extraordinary collection of Italian seventeenth- and eighteenth-century paintings.

Adding to these are a splendid Francesco Furini depicting Judith and Holofernes, one of the masterpieces of Louis Finson, signed and dated 1610, with Bathsheba at Her Bath, and a jewel by Bernardo Cavallino, considered “one of the highest achievements of Cavallino’s advanced maturity.”

The department is available to provide confidential and discreet valuations. For further information regarding the auction, please feel free to contact us at: dipintiantichi@pandolfini.it
