With the arrival of the good season, the SmartWine 2.0 online auction event returns with the Spring Classics catalogue. If you want to enrich your collection or sample otherwise unobtainable bottles of unquestionable quality, this is the auction for you.

The selection of lots is very broad, embracing all the main production areas, with bottles interesting for their quality and scarcity on the markets.

The first part is dedicated to neighbouring France, with bottles from Champagne, Bordeaux and Burgundy: Krug, Château d'Yquem, Domaine Mugneret-Gibourg, are just some of the names in the catalogue.

We continue with Tuscany, and there are many great references that distinguish our region: Masseto, Sassicaia, Ornellaia, Soldera, Solaia, and Tignanello are the best known bottles in the catalogue, but also worthy of note are the emerging Gorgona and Lux, both from the Frescobaldi 'family'.

We then proceed with the lots from the other Italian regions, from Trentino-Alto Adige to Sicily, passing through the Amarones of the Veneto, to then close the auction with the part dedicated to Piedmont and all its declinations of Nebbiolo, Barbera, Dolcetto and all its grape varieties, with great names such as Giacomo Conterno, Giuseppe Rinaldi and Bartolo Mascarello.

From the great classics to the 'newcomers' to the world of wine, we are sure to have intrigued both enthusiasts and newcomers to the wine world.

So all that remains is to give you an online appointment, from 10 to 16 April... and may the best man win!
