Ceramics are once again the protagonist of Pandolfini from 14 until 20 of April 2022 with a rich timed auction entitled "Ceramics. Maiolica and Porcelain from Sixteenth until Nineteenth Century". A selection of valuable artefacts from the main Italian production centers is proposed: from various Montelupo maiolica examples, mostly dishes, ewers and pharmacy jugs, to Seventeeth-century examples from Deruta, but also a group from Savona in the traditional white and blue shades. A series of refined Eighteenth century examples from Ginori, will include plates, coffee pots, trays, bowls and tureens, but also charming figures in polychrome painted porcelain with various characters (young women, players, a Harlequin). There will also be proposed a group of Bolognese artifacts manufactured by Finck that includes a pair of jars and various examples of albarelli, together with some representative works of the traditional ceramics from Castelli d'Abruzzo, with historiated plates belonging to the workshop of Carmine Gentili, and from Milan, signed by Pasquale Rubati. There will be also some elegant examples from important foreign productions: in particular pieces from Sèvres, and Meissen manufactures. In the latter the polychrome and gilded porcelain tureen realized according to the Krönung service have a particular importance.
