The Old Master Paintings Department is pleased to announce its first online auction, to be held form 10 to 16 April 2026. The works will be available for viewing by appointment only at our historica headquarters, Palazzo Ramirez Montalvo, Borgo degli Albizi 26, Florence.

In the catalogue, collectors, scholars, and enthusiasts will have the opportunity to appreciate a carefully curated selection of artworks of various genres, techniques, and formats. Among these, we highlight a dark-toned David with the Head of Goliath by an 18th-century Venetian painter; an imposing Saint Ambrose from a 17th-century Lombard school; a pleasing Still life with fruit and a set consisting of a silver plate and tureen, formerly owned by the opera singer Maria Callas; and a pair of Musicians attributable to the workshop of Bernhard Keilhau, known as Monsù Bernardo.
