We are pleased to announce the first event of 2026 for the 19th Century Paintings Department with the auction ARCADE | PAINTINGS FROM THE 16TH TO THE 20TH CENTURY, which will take place on March 11, 2026, in Florence at our historic headquarters, Palazzo Ramirez Montalvo.
The sale catalogue features approximately 200 lots, consisting predominantly of works by Italian artists, alongside selected pieces by French and English school painters.
Among the early 19th-century works, we highlight two rare tempera paintings by Ricciardo Meacci. A special section of the sale is dedicated to works by Eugenio Scorzelli, as well as to pieces by the three artists Silvio Bicchi, Ottorino Bicchi, and Silvio Jr. Bicchi.
The catalogue represents the major Italian schools. Among the Tuscan artists, notable works include those by Galileo Chini, Memo Vagaggini, Renato Natali, and Ludovico Tommasi; among the Roman artists, Pompeo Fabri and Onorato Carlandi are featured.
The department is at your disposal to submit confidential and discreet evaluations. For further information regarding the auction, please kindly contact us at dipinti800@pandolfini.it
