Secondo i registri Longines dell'epoca il presente segnatempo è stato fatturato il 13 marzo 1941 alla ditta Ostersetzer, Agente all’epoca della maison per l'Italia.
Rarissima versione della ref 4381 in acciaio che precede la più vasta produzione in questo metallo della ref 4994, questo esemplare si presenta in condizioni eccezionali, paragonabili al nuovo.
