This rare specimen is distinguished by the particular brown hue assumed by the dial, called "tropical" in the profession. The case has the typical crown protected shoulders with a pointed profile, smaller than those of the following years. This particular type of case was produced for a short period of time in 1959, coming after the first specimens with squared shoulders.
