A 4 night’s stay (a long week end) for
4 people in the Castle of Roncade, in
the Veneto Region.
The Castle lies 30 min inland from Venice
and is the only existing fortified Venetian Villa
enclosed by Medieval walls and a moat. The
Giustinian family, who owned it for almost four
centuries, built the villa in the XV century. In
1930 the Ciani Bassetti family acquired and
restored the property and started producing
wine on the estate. The present owner, Baron
Vincenzo Ciani Bassetti, who is a passionate
wine connoisseur, opens his residence to guests.
The bedrooms on the first floor are reached
through the splendid entrance salone which
overlooks both the statued garden and the
