Pantani
E' la maglia gialla ufficiale e personale indossata da Marco Pantani al Tour de France da lui vinto nel 1998.
Con quella maglia sul petto il Campione romagnolo è stato il settimo ed ultimo atleta nella storia del ciclismo a centrare l'accoppiata Giro d'Italia Tour de France nella stessa stagione. Dopo di lui nessuno ci è più riuscito. La prestigiosa maglia è stata donata dalla madre di Marco Pantani - la signora Tonina- che la custodiva nella casa dove un tempo viveva il grande scalatore italiano. Uno dei suoi ricordi più cari ceduto per una causa nobile.
Considerando che Pantani l'ha indossata per la prima volta in gara il giorno dopo la storica vittoria a Les Deux Alpes, e che nella cronometro di Le Creusot vestiva un body , di maglie come questa- originali e realmente utilizzate in corsa da Pantani ne esistono solo 5 al mondo.
Un oggetto prezioso e molto raro che ha accompagnato la più grande impresa del " Pirata" : l'indimenticabile vittoria al Tour del France 1998.
E' una maglia molto ambita dagli appassionati di ciclismo e dai tantissimi ammiratori - sparsi in tutto il mondo - di Marco Pantani scomparso il 14 Febbraio 2004.
Un pezzo di storia del ciclismo che ha accompagnato il più grande scalatore di tutti i tempi.
This is the official and personal yellow jersey worn by Marco Pantani at the Tour de France he won in 1998.
With that jersey on his chest, the Romagna champion was the seventh and last athlete in the history of cycling to hit the coupled Giro d'Italia and Tour de France in the same season. After him no one has been able to do it anymore. The prestigious jersey was donated by Marco Pantani's mother - Mrs. Tonina - who kept it in the house where the great Italian climber once lived. One of his fondest memories given over to a noble cause.
Considering that Pantani wore it for the first time in the race the day after the historic victory at Les Deux Alpes, and that in the Le Creusot time trial he wore a leotard, jerseys like this one - original and really used in racing by Pantani only 5 in the world.
