After graduating with a degree in Science, he approached the world of art for the first time and began collaborating with Milan antique dealers. Thanks to his contact with Chinese vendors, he began developing a passion for China and was able to continue his studies in this field, thanks to his access to an extensive library and Chinese archive pieces. Fundamental to his education was his collaboration with leading auction houses in London, which allowed him to further build upon his understanding of the international market.
Since 2014, he has been Head of the Pandolfini Department of Asian Art, which today is known for achieving some of the very best auction results in Chinese artifacts.
