Gli orologi Breguet Type 20 furono consegnati all’aviazione Francese tra il 1955 e il 1959 e forniti ai piloti, essi restavano proprietà dello Stato che si occupava della manutenzione. Venivano ceduti ai piloti stessi in casi particolari.
Breguet produce oggi una versione civile denominata "Type XX", destinata a piloti non militari e collezionisti.
Secondo i registri della casa madre, il cronografo Breguet Nr. 7858 è un "Type 20 Militare" consegnato al Ministero dell'Areonautica Francese il 31 luglio 1957. Sul fondello riporta svariate date, le quali corrispondono alle scadenze delle revisioni che il segnatempo ha ricevuto nel corso della storia.
The watches Breguet Type 20 were delivered to the French Air Force between 1955 and 1959 and supplied to the pilots, they remained the property of the State which was in charge of maintenance. They were given to the pilots themselves in special cases.
Today Breguet produces a civilian version called "Type XX", intended for non-military pilots and collectors.
According to the records of the parent company, the chronograph Breguet No. 7858 is a "Military Type 20" delivered to the French Ministry of Aeronautics on 31 July 1957.The case back shows several dates, which correspond to the revisions that the timepiece has received throughout history.
