Antoni Gaudì era e continua ad essere uno degli architetti più famosi più famosi del Modernismo del mondo. L’edizione speciale “Spirit of Gaudì’”si ispira a La Pedrera, opera di Gaudì costruita tra il 1906 e il 1912 per i Signori Milà, per questo motivo La Pedrera è nota anche come Casa Milà. Questa fu l’ultima opera civile dell’artista e nel novembre 1984 La Pedrera fu dichiarata patrimonio dell’UNESCO. Oggi è, insieme alla cattedrale de La Sagrada Familia, un autentico simbolo della città di Barcellona capace di suscitare ancora un grande fascino. Influenzato nella sua opera da natura, letteratura, arte gotica e architettura orientale, Gaudì realizza ne La Pedrera un’imponente facciata ondulante che conferisce all’opera un movimento vitale. La terrazza del palazzo presenta forme oniriche e suggestive nel quale i fumaioli e i condotti per la ventilazione si trasformano in forme antropomorfe.
La Pelikan realizza una penna stilografica che trae la sua ispirazione dallo stile architettonico dell’opera barcellonese quale omaggio alla particolarità del suo stile e al suo grande autore Gaudì. La realizzazione e il design dell’edizione di questo gioiello da scrittura è avvenuta a Barcellona spostandosi successivamente in Germania. La sua produzione a livello mondiale è limitata a 1.000 esemplari.
Antoni Gaudi was and continues to be one of the most famous architects of Modernism in the world. The special edition "Spirit of Gaudi'" is inspired by La Pedrera, a work of Gaudi built between 1906 and 1912 for the Lords Milà, for this reason La Pedrera is also known as Casa Milà. This was the artist’s last civil work and in November 1984 La Pedrera was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Today it is, together with the cathedral of La Sagrada Familia, an authentic symbol of the city of Barcelona that still arouses great charm. Influenced in his work by nature, literature, Gothic art and oriental architecture, Gaudí created in La Pedrera an imposing undulating façade that gives the work a vital movement. The terrace of the building has dreamlike and evocative shapes in which the funnels and ventilation ducts are transformed into anthropomorphic forms.
Pelikan creates a fountain pen that draws its inspiration from the architectural style of Barcelona’s work as a tribute to the peculiarity of its style and its great author Gaudi. The creation and design of the edition of this writing jewel took place in Barcelona and then moved to Germany. Its worldwide production is limited to 1,000 units.
