THE EVERYDAY 911

The 996 series was the car that changed the Porsche 911, as it was a completely new model which introduced some very important technical changes, such as the new front suspension but more importantly, the liquid-cooled engine.

Two types of transmission were available: rear wheel drive or permanent all wheel drive. Driveability as well as safety were very much improved as Porsche wanted to make the 911 a less-specialized car that could be used every day.

Launched with a 300 hp 3,4 litre engine, in 2002 the 996 received a new 320 hp 3,6 litre unit. The 4S, thanks to its integral and permanent all-wheel drive, improved the safety and the possibility of using the car in every weather condition.

The car offered here today has been pampered by two collector brothers and is as good as new.

The vehicle is in excellent mechanical condition but for safety reasons, we advise the purchaser to have it checked over and to replace the fluids, filters and perishable elements.
