Intaglio in giada, Cina, metà del XVII secolo, fine della dinastia Ming, inizi Qing, raffigurante una tigre accovacciata che afferra nella bocca un elemento vegetale, larg. cm 7Loggetto è stato esposto nel 1986 presso il Pacific Asia Museum in Pasadena, California, nellambito della mostra Chinese Jade. The image from Within, ed è accompagnato da una nota scritta a macchina che recita:  accept this gift as an offer of friendship: a jade carving of a reclining tiger holding a sacred mushroom with a butterfly. It is late Ming Dynasty (mid XVII century) and its carving style and technique are typical of the southern provinces of the period. It comes from my personal collection which was exhibited on loan at the Pacific Asia Museum in Pasadena, California. I hope you enjoy it
