La storia del Blancpain Fifty Fathoms nasce nel 1952 su specifiche esigenze dei militari della Marina Francese.
L'unica Maison in grado di soddisfare tutte le loro richieste fu Blancpain con il modello "Diver Fifty Fathoms".
Da qui la nascita del mito, l'orologio adottato dai Navy Seals Americani e dai "Frogman" della Marina Militare Tedesca e anche da Jacques Cousteau per le sue missioni.
The history of the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms began in 1952 on the specific needs of the French Navy soldiers.
The only Maison able to satisfy all their requests was Balncpain with the "Diver Fifty Fathoms" model.
